Safe, Sound, Hot and Tired!

Thank you for all your prayers! We arrived safe and sound. Kate and Kyle were pulled over by customs and they looked in one bag (briefly) then passed them on. That's it! No problems. It's always a relief to see Big (our Haitian airport helper) greet us and take our bags from us and get us safely to our transportation.
We were all pretty fatigued when we arrived at the guesthouse but was somewhat revived by lunch and water. Then to Three Angels to be awesomely welcomed by our friends there. A quick tour of the place and most of the team members were off to the Caribbean Market for some grocery shopping while much of the medical team unpacked bags, organized and repacked for the surgeries. There was plenty of time to play with the kids and then be entertained by the dance performance of Ayiti Dans Ansanm.
It just so happens that there is a documentary being filmed here, too! Please pray that God is glorified through our actions in this documentary.
Dinner was great and swimming afterwards was even better! It is hot, hot, hot!!!
Oh, it's soccer time, too. Apparently Haiti is playing the U.S. tonight. By the sounds of things around here, Haiti is winning :-)
Tomorrow is church and then preparations for the week. Continue to pray for this team and for those we will serve!
